When illness forced Lew DeWitt to step away from touring, Jimmy was invited to join The Statler Brothers.
It was a daunting role.
Yet Jimmy’s soaring tenor blended beautifully with the group’s signature harmonies, and he quickly became an essential part of one of country music’s most beloved vocal groups.

When The Statler Brothers retired in 2002, Jimmy faced a new chapter.
